Image: Won't Bow Down
Larry Blumenfeld

Music is a way of life and an industry in New Orleans. But the city's native traditions are endangered, as musicians have either fled the city or struggle with challenges of housing and loans. In this interview broadcast October 13, 2006, on WNYC's Soundcheck, Larry Blumenfeld discusses whether and how New Orleans can preserve its culture.
