To mark the second anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Kate Ellis and Stephen Smith teamed up with Nick Spitzer of American Routes to produce this two-part radio series, which aired August 29, 2007, on American RadioWorks. It explores the myriad ways Hurricane Katrina damaged New Orleans and how the city's rich culture—itself very much in danger—might actually help save it.
