June Cross

June Cross is at work on a documentary that tracks the failures of public policy and the trivial cruelty of politics by examining the plight of one extended clan who together represent New Orleans's rich cultural heritage and its challenged economic future.

Cross follows their journeys as they weather insurance quagmires, bureaucratic nightmares, political dramas, and personal devastation. Their stories will be explored in the context of Louisiana's poor public health system, rich cultural heritage, tourism industry, racial composition, political history, and current rebuilding efforts.
