Gordana Knezevic
Gordana Knezevic, an international journalist with over 30 years’ experience, covered the war in her native Bosnia for the Sarajevo-based newspaper Oslobodjenje. Oslobodjenje was named newspaper of the year in 1992 by the UK’s Granada TV, and Gordana was the recipient of numerous international awards for her role in the newspaper's success, including the International Women’s Media Foundation Courage in Journalism Award and the Rothko Chapel Foundation’s Oscar Romero Human Rights Award. Since 1996, she has been based in Toronto, Canada, where she is the online desk editor at Reuters. |
