Is Stability Now Possible?
The ouster of Slobodan Milosevic as president of Yugoslavia has strengthened the possibilities for achieving stability in South Eastern Europe. The Soros foundations network has worked to establish democracy, cooperation among countries, and peace and security in the region for the past decade.
