Resource Mobilization for Women's Rights

Grantee List

In order to help cope with growing challenges for mobilizing financing for women's rights work globally, the International Women's Program supported several funds around the world in an effort to increase resources for programs benefiting women and girls.

IWP provided key support to the following women’s funds:

  • Central American Women’s Fund;
  • Semillas (co-funded by the OSI Latin America Program);
  • Ukrainian Women’s Fund;
  • Slovak-Czech Women’s Fund;
  • Reconstruction Women’s Fund (Serbia);
  • Urgent Action Fund;
  • Global Fund for Women.

In addition, IWP grantee Karama initiated the first Arab Women’s Fund, launched in Amman, Jordan in November 2007.
