Bao Pham
Executive Assistant
International Women's Program

Bao Pham is the executive assistant for the International Women's Program. Pham has a Bachelor's degree in physics with academic credentials and work experience in the human rights field. She has worked with Physicians for Human Rights, the CT Coalition for Environmental Justice, and the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Last year, Pham was a human rights fellow at the Third Millennium Foundation, where she coordinated the Human Rights Summer Institute for high school students in New York City. Pham then spent six months in Kampala, Uganda, at the Action Group for Health, Human Rights and HIV/AIDS conducting research on the impact of Uganda's healthcare in rural areas. In the summer of 2007, prior to joining the Open Society Institute, she carried out an independent project in collaboration with Amnesty International-Mongolia to develop and implement the first structured human rights education program in Mongolia.
