D.C. Community Grants Initiative

In 2006, 2007, and 2008, the DC Community Grants Initiative awarded the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers with a grant to support the Washington AIDS Partnership (Partnership). 

The Partnership is a collaboration of grantmaking organizations that lead an effective private-sector response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Washington, DC metropolitan area through strategic grantmaking, technical assistance, public policy initiatives, and investment in youth development through an AmeriCorps program. The Partnership works to reduce the number of HIV infections and improve the lives of those already infected by HIV/AIDS in the DC metropolitan region.
