Community of Hope
2006

Community of Hope serves low-income, homeless, and underserved families and individuals in the District of Columbia by providing healthcare, housing with supportive services, educational opportunities, and spiritual support.  Community of Hope's health clinic provides patient visits to homeless, low-income and underinsured individuals.

In 2006 and 2007, the DC Community Grants Initiative awarded grants to Community of Hope to support the establishment of Hope Apartments, the second of two housing facilities run by the organization.  Hope Apartments provides homeless families with supportive services that address the needs of the entire family, including substance abuse counseling and educational and job training.
