Open Society Fellow Juanita Leon discusses her efforts to launch La Silla Vacía, Colombia's first website devoted to investigative journalism.

The site debuted in March 2009 and has become essential reading for politicians, journalists, activists, and others interested in the current political situation in Colombia. Her correspondents have broken several major corruption stories and interviewed many leading public officials and presidential candidates.
