The panel included Carina Tertsakian, Global Witness Lead Campaigner on the Democratic Republic of Congo. Her work focuses on the links between the exploitation of natural resources, conflict, and corruption. She co-authored and carried out the field research for the Global Witness report "Digging in Corruption: Fraud, Abuse and Exploitation in Katanga’s Copper and Cobalt Mines."
Also participating was photographer Marcus Bleasdale, who has spent six years documenting the brutal conflict within the borders of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Bleasdale's work, which has been published widely in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States, appears in Moving Walls 11.
