Democratic Movements in Albania—Taking Stock Before the June Elections

Freedom House and OSI–Washington, DC, hosted a discussion panel on the parliamentary elections taking place in Albania this summer. Observers expect the elections to be competitive—and tense. The quality of the vote may have significant ramifications for Albania’s EU and NATO prospects. It will also cast a spotlight on the country’s reform efforts over the past four years.
