OSI Katrina Media Fellows' Film to Air on PBS

As part of a series of programming celebrating Black History Month, PBS stations nationwide will air Faubourg Tremé: The Untold Story of Black New Orleans throughout February. Written by Times Picayune journalist Lolis Elie and directed by Dawn Logsdon, the award-winning documentary explores the civil rights history and rich living culture of one of the oldest African American neighborhoods in America.

Elie and Logsdon shared an OSI Katrina Media Fellowship in 2006 to complete the film.
