Arguably the most powerful officials in the legal system, prosecutors have sole control over decisions that often predetermine the outcome of cases. With a fellowship,  Ms. Davis will write a book about how prosecutorial power and discretion have perpetuated many of the inequities an flaws in the criminal justice system. Ms. Davis' project will engage the poublic, policymakers and prosecutors themselves in an effort to effect positive and constructive reform.
