2002 Arguably the most powerful officials in the legal system, prosecutors have sole control over decisions that often predetermine the outcome of cases. With a fellowship, Ms. Davis will write a book about how prosecutorial power and discretion have perpetuated many of the inequities an flaws in the criminal justice system.
