Soros Justice Fellow Peter Wagner Launches New Website

Date:
May 1, 2003

Soros Justice Postgraduate Fellow Peter Wagner has launched a new website about the Census-based dilution of urban and minority voting strength.

The website argues with detailed articles and powerful maps that the U.S. Census should count the nation's overwhelmingly urban and minority prisoner population at their home addresses rather than as residents of the predominantly white and rural towns that host the prisons. The website shows that the existing impact on legislative redistricting is both measureable and profound.
