Pennsylvania Lifts Lifetime Benefits Ban For Drug Offenses

Pennsylvania has finally opted out of the lifetime ban on benefits for individuals with felony drug convictions. The law will go into effect on February 22. The movement was supported by a broad range of people and advocacy groups including Soros Justice Senior Fellow Amy Hirsch, an attorney with Community Legal Services, a U.S. Justice Fund grantee.
