General operating support is provided for Make the Road by Walking.

Make the Road by Walking is a membership-led organization based in Bushwick, Brooklyn made up of primarily low-income Latino and African-American residents of Bushwick and neighboring communities. Through organizing and collaborative learning practice, Make the Road promotes racial and economic justice and participatory democracy by increasing residents' power to achieve self-determination through collective action. Make the Road’s multi-generational members work on both local and city-wide issues, such as language access, workers' rights, and environmental safety.
