Through its initiatives focused on voting rights enforcement, fair and balanced judicial nominations, and affirmative action protection, LCCREF works on building an informed public that will be supportive of the nation’s growing diversity and pressing civil rights issues. With over 180 organizations within its national coalition, LCCREF operates seven distinct organizational projects to promote civil rights reform. The organization’s projects are Ensuring Equal Opportunity, Promoting Civic Engagement, Building Stronger Communities and Families, Criminal Justice Reform, Independence of the Judiciary, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, and the Philanthropic Initiative for Racial Equity.
