Call for Proposals: Developing Small Donor or Membership Bases

Date:
October 1, 2009

The Open Society Institute Democracy and Power Fund and the New World Foundation invite proposals to support innovative models of developing small donor or membership bases to increase organizational sustainability and community accountability.  This goal of this RFP is to identify a small number—three to five—of community-based organizations or alliances building best practices and developing new strategies to diversify their funding bases.

We especially encourage proposals from organizations or small alliances of groups with existing track records in raising revenue from small donor or membership bases and which may now be positioned to pilot new efforts that could become replicable models for other organizations across the country.

Deadline

Proposals are due Friday, October 30, 2009.
