Grassroots Organizing & Civic Engagement
The OSI Democracy and Power Fund supports organizations and networks that expand public participation and collective action to advance social justice and open society through grassroots organizing and civic engagement.

Leadership Development & Youth Engagement
The OSI Democracy and Power Fund supports organizations dedicated to youth organizing and engagement, and development of a leadership continuum that includes multiple layers of social justice leadership, from new activists to movement elders.

Social Engagement Through Arts, Culture, & Technology
The OSI Democracy and Power Fund supports organizations that use innovative means of social engagement through arts, culture, and technology, to inspire and sustain participation in social justice organizing and advocacy.

Policy Innovation
The OSI Democracy and Power Fund supports organizations that identify issues, conduct analysis and applied research, and integrate policy change efforts with grassroots strategies to more effectively improve the lives of many.

Building State-Based Power
The OSI Democracy and Power Fund will support state-based groups that address opportunities to advance (or the threats to) open society.
