The Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) is an independent not-for-profit research organization, launched in Tbilisi in 2002, focused on promoting contemporary public policy concepts and practices in Georgia. IPS is committed to providing a forum for substantive and inclusive dialogue between representatives of different branches of the government, the civil sector and the public in Georgia. The areas of activity of IPS are: survey of the public opinion, civil society and democracy, sector and regional policies, public participation and awareness, generation and gender, forced migration, national development strategy, minority policies and conflict resolution and international relations.
