Co-PLAN is a nonprofit organization that contributes to sustainable urban and regional development, by enabling good governance, developing civil society and empowering community participation. The fields of work of Co-PLAN are: urban and regional management, municipal / environmental management, institutional development. Good governance, public administration and social development are inherent to Co-PLAN’s work.

Co-PLAN has contributed to Albanian social development and economic improvement of low income neighborhoods, as well as to the empowerment of local governments towards implementation of decentralization policies, improvement of service delivery, good planning of resources and participatory governance.

Currently, Co-PLAN is engaged in influencing policy at local and central level through exploring territorial administration in Albania, public asset management and municipal environmental management.
