Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence
2006

The Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence (BFPE) is part of the South East European Network of Schools of Political Studies, operating under the auspices of the Council of Europe. It was founded by Sonja Licht in October 2003 as a non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit organization. The major objective of BFPE is to contribute to the building and continued development of new, democratically minded political leadership (Parliament, political parties and institutions at national, regional and local levels), as well as leaders in other segments of the pluralist, free-market society (public servants, judiciary, media, culture, trade-unions, business, NGOs).
