Justiça Global

Justiça Global will conduct extensive fieldwork to identify the degree to which the government is upholding the rights of detained and imprisoned persons. Based on the study's findings, Justiça Global will conduct advocacy at the state and federal levels. They will also push for the implementation of the UN CAT Committee's recommendations on penitentiary reform, and the recommendations recently released by the National Council on Justice and the Brazilian Parliamentary Commission on the Penitentiary System.
