Disability Rights
The OSI Disability Rights Initiative seeks to address discrimination against people with disabilities and promote their inclusion in society by supporting a rights-based approach to disability.

Journalism
Under the auspices of the Special Initiative Fund, the OSI Journalism Fund formerly supported training opportunities for journalists working internationally, helping them to understand key issues and learn how to cover them.

LGBTI Rights
The OSI LGBTI Rights Initiative seeks to combat discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity by empowering lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex communities to promote and defend their human rights.
