Technical Assistance

Guidelines

In select cases, OSI is providing technical assistance grants to support organizational development. The model provides support to individual grantee organizations within areas such as communications, board development, strategic planning, fundraising, leadership training, and technology.

This strategy provides an opportunity for a grantee to work with an intermediary organization or consultant on an individual basis. Funding support from the Technical Assistance Fund is generally given as a grant to the organization, which allows the grantee to select and manage its own consultant, but can also be given directly to an intermediary organization or consultant through a consulting contract.
