Call for Alumni: Regional Conference–Romania 2009

Date:
July 30, 2009

The third annual Regional Alumni Conference will be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania November 5-8, 2009, and will provide an invaluable opportunity for alumni to network, create new bonds and reconnect with old friends.

The theme of the conference this year is "Social Activism"—discussing and presenting ideas and critical views on what it means to be active in today’s changing society from a multitude of perspectives.

As Scholarship Programs reconnects with scholars from around the region, program and Soros foundation funded alumni from Hungary, Moldova and Romania are invited to help us shape the event.

More information on the conference is avaliable at the conference website.

Please contact program coordinator Zoë Brogden, for further information at zbrogden@sorosny.org
