OSI Scholarship Programs offers support to individuals from Tajikistan and Moldova for doctoral study in the United States or Canada. The Doctoral Fellowships are intended to promote and assist promising new academic talent with an eye to creating leading scholars in political science, international relations, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, economics, or history.
Upon completion of the degree, fellows are required to return home to continue or begin academic careers. It is hoped that the fellowship experience will inspire participants to play an active role in the revitalization and reform of higher education generally and scholarship (research and teaching) in their discipline.
For further information and an application, please see the Doctoral Fellows Program guidelines.
