The Open Society Institute's Alumni Grant Program seeks applications from qualified Scholarship Programs alumni. The purpose of the grant is to enable alumni to further expand the knowledge gained during their fellowship and to make a positive contribution to their home country.

Areas of project activities can include, but are not limited to:

• alumni networking and fostering the creation of associations;
• activities that generate debate/dialogue on local social and political issues;
• initiatives that further social justice or community welfare;
• other projects judged by the selection committee to be in the spirit of the program goals.
