2006 OSI UK Scholarship Programs Conference

Every year, OSI’s Scholarship Programs organize a conference to bring together all current OSI/Chevening grantees in Britain. The 2006 mid-year students’ conference was held April 1–4 at the University of Nottingham. Over the course of the conference, participants had the opportunity to present and discuss academic papers, participate in debate sessions, learn about professional development opportunities, and expand their networks of personal and professional contacts with colleagues from throughout Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, as well as from the Middle East, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Lebanon, Mongolia, Pakistan, and Turkey.
