UK Scholarship Programs Midyear Conference

Each year, OSI's Scholarship Programs organizes a conference to bring together all current OSI/Chevening grantees in Britain.

During the 2008 conference, participants had the opportunity to present and discuss academic papers, participate in debate sessions, learn about professional development opportunities, and expand their networks of personal and professional contacts with colleagues from throughout Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Mongolia, Pakistan, and Turkey.

The conference also held a photography competition. The winning entry is featured below.
