Drug and Human Rights Research Center
2009

The Drugs and Human Rights Research Center (CIIDH), a new organization, will conduct research and catalyze debate on how governments in the region deal with drug-related offenses in order to promote criminal policy that is both rational and humane. Activities will highlight the negative impact brought about by traditional criminal justice policies on drug-related offenses and the need to more effectively respond to the problems deriving from the production, trafficking and consumption of illicit drugs.
