The Center for Legal and Social Studies will work to reduce the rate of pretrial detention in the province of Buenos Aires by advocating for the full implementation of the Federal Supreme Court of Justice's decision in the case of Verbitsky. They will also challenge the constitutionality of new reforms which limit the possibility of noncustodial measures for defendants.
