Moving Walls Photographers Andrew Lichtenstein and Steve Liss Featured at New School "Punishment" Conference

The New School for Social Research will host Punishment: The U.S. Record, a conference that will feature slideshows of photographs from Moving Walls 8 photographers Andrew Lichtenstein and Steve Liss. The event, which is supported by OSI's Justice Fund, is the 16th in a Social Research series that is dedicated to enhancing public understanding through multi-disciplinary discussion. The conference will address who, what, why, and how we punish.

Before the start of each of each session, a slideshow of photographs from Andrew Lichtenstein’s "The True Cost of Prison" and Steve Liss’s "No Place for Children: Voices from Juvenile Detention" will be presented.
