OSI’s "Dads" Exhibition Is Subject of Editorial, Radio Program
April 14, 2007

On April 14, 2007, the Baltimore Sun ran an editorial inspired by OSI’s Moving Walls exhibition "Dads," on view at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center. As noted in the piece, "Redefining Fatherhood," positive images of disadvantaged, low-income fathers are not in the mainstream media and many policies make it difficult for these men to be good parents. Important legislation has just been passed in Maryland, however, that points in the right direction. Read the editorial.

OSI-Baltimore grantee Jason Perkins-Cohen and Joseph Jones, Vice Chair of the OSI-Baltimore Board, also discussed "Dads," opportunities, and obstacles on the Marc Steiner Show.
