Tanya Habjouqa: Biography

Tanya Habjouqa, born in Jordan, began working as a freelance photographer in the United States, documenting migrant communities and urban poverty for the Fort Worth Weekly. For the last five years, she has worked in conflict zones and documented migrant and domestic worker abuse and drug addiction in the Middle East. Her photographs have appeared in international publications and received two humanitarian awards. Habjouqa is currently pursuing a MA in Global Media and Post National Communication at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
