Grantees
Aftermath Project
2008

Funding for production grants.

The Aftermath Project looks at post-conflict situations—the story of what it takes for individuals to learn to live again, to rebuild destroyed lives and homes, to restore civil societies, and to address the lingering wounds of war while struggling to create new avenues for peace. The primary activity of the Aftermath Project is a yearly production grant competition for working photographers worldwide covering the aftermath of conflict and reflecting the stories of what happens after the troops and the media leave.
