Eugene Richards
2005

Eugene Richards will produce a multimedia DVD of his forthcoming book, A Procession of Them: The Plight of the World’s Mentally Disabled. A selection of this work was exhibited in Moving Walls 10. Following college, Richards joined AmeriCorps: VISTA and was assigned to eastern Arkansas, where he helped found a social service organization and community newspaper. After the publication of his first book, he began working as a freelance photographer for LIFE and the New York Times Magazine. He has received the W.
