Tim Matsui
2007

Working with the FEAR (Friends Educating Against Rape) Project, Tim Matsui will conduct speaker engagements as part of a multimedia presentation in Seattle public schools that aim to create a dialogue on the lasting effects of sexual violence on individuals and communities. Speakers will address ninth- and tenth-grade health or life-skills classes and teen peer-advocacy groups, and will use an onsite photography exhibition and DVD to illustrate the hidden nature of sexual violence. Matsui hopes to create a safe space in which students can address how sexual violence impacts their lives.
