Greg Constantine
2009

Greg Constantine will partner with UNHCR to create a traveling exhibition, permanent digital archive, multimedia video, and pdf photo essay that combine photographs documenting the consequences of statelessness and the denial of citizenship on Nubians in Kenya, with rare historical photographs and documents from their personal collections. The exhibit will travel to indoor and outdoor venues in downtown Nairobi, the Nubian section of the Kibera neighborhood of Nairobi, and London. The aim of the project is to advocate for basic rights, inclusion on Kenya's census, and the issuance of Kenyan ID cards for Nubians.
