"How Beautiful Is Panama!" A Photographic Conversation from Burj-al-Shamali Camp is an Open Society Institute-funded exhibition of photography by Palestian youth, which will be displayed publicly in refugee camps in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Palestine.
The ongoing project is an open-ended exchange on the visual memory of the Burj-al-Shamali Palestinian refugee camp in southern Lebanon. The project involves both youth-produced documentary photography and research that aims to gather and preserve family and studio photographs from the camp community itself.
