Ronald Rwankangi

Program Associate
Youth Initiative / OSIEA

Ronald Rwankangi is a program associate for OSI Youth Initiative’s Network Debate Program and Youth Action Fund. He brings a wealth of experience in steering youth projects in Eastern Africa.

Prior to joining OSIEA, Rwankangi was the coordinating consultant for the Youth Action Fund. He also consulted on a wide range of issues, including youth empowerment, leadership development, and peace building. He worked as a training consultant with the British Council, Uganda; program officer with the United Nations Association of Uganda, where he was responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Millennium Development Goals; and with Conflict Resolution by Youth, a civil society organization that coordinates peace projects.

As part of an exchange program at the Institut Titian Perdamaian (Peace Building Institute) Rwankangi implemented a number of youth projects in Indonesia. He holds a bachelor's degree in technical teacher education with an electrical engineering major.
