Soros Advocacy Fellowship for Physicians
Between 1999 and 2004, OSI operated the Soros Advocacy Fellowship for Physicians to support a cadre of physician advocates with expertise in achieving system or policy social change at the local, state, and national level.

Soros Service Program for Community Health
The Soros Service Program for Community Health supported educating medical students on professionalism in a community context.

Physician-Consumer Alliances
The Physician-Consumer Alliances were collaborations between physician and consumer groups to promote quality of care, spur fair allocation of scarce resources, strengthen accountability to patients, and enforce standards of ethics for healthcare professionals.

Institute on Medicine as a Profession
The work of MAP continues with the Institute on Medicine as a Profession (IMAP) at Columbia University.
