Commentary on the ICC Draft Guidelines on Intermediaries

Local intermediaries, such as aid groups, community leaders, lawyers and journalists, can play an important role in helping the International Criminal Court to find witnesses who are willing to testify about alleged crimes. The member states who support the ICC are discussing a set of draft guidelines to govern this process—this commentary is a contribution to that discussion.
