Ethnic Profiling and Counter-Terrorism: Trends, Dangers and Alternatives
Open Society Justice Initiative Executive Director James A. Goldston addressed the European Parliament's Seminar on Counter-Terrorism and Ethnic Profiling in Brussels on June 6. The seminar, organized by the European Parliament's Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup and the European Network Against Racism, focused on balancing counter-terrorism activities against their potential infringement on fundamental rights and civil liberties.
