Sebastian Kohn
Program OfficerSebastian Kohn is program officer for equality and citizenship at the Open Society Justice Initiative. Based in the New York office, Kohn holds a master's degree in conflict, security, and development from King's College London. He also has a bachelor's degree in international relations and history from the London School of Economics.
At the Justice Initiative, Kohn’s work focuses on nondiscrimination, statelessness and the right to nationality. He carries out research on the dimensions and scale of statelessness around the world, and advocates in favor of an affirmative right to nationality for all people, as well as better protections for those who are stateless.
Kohn’s primary areas of interest and expertise are the human right to a nationality, non-discrimination, international institutions, and LGBT rights.
