About Open Information Policy

The Open Information Policy Initiative aims to reduce barriers to access and exchange of information in online communications in two policy areas: protecting basic freedoms in the digital environment; exploring new opportunities for expanding access to communications resources. It also seeks to protect the basic rights of individuals and vulnerable populations who are affected by the proliferation of genetic technologies
