First-Round Shortlist for mySociety Central/Eastern European Proposals Announced

mySociety has announced a shortlist of projects being considered for funding through the joint call for online transparency and citizen engagement projects in Central and Eastern Europe, issued with the Open Society Institute Information Program in 2009.

The shortlist is drawn from projects submitted during the first of four rounds; mySociety plans to identify additional shortlisted projects from subsequent rounds in the coming weeks, and to announce funding decisions soon afterward on their blog. 

A total of 117 proposals from 19 countries have been submitted since the call opened in October, 2009; the final round closed on February 15, 2010.  For more information, please visit the mySociety Central and Eastern European Project blog.
