The Open Access initiative aims to shift the publication of peer-reviewed research articles to an open-access basis and to promote public access to publicly funded research.
Open Educational Resources
This initiative aims to make educational resources freely available by enabling inclusive and participatory pedagogy based on open source learning materials.
Open Access to Law
This project supports access to case law and statutes in developing and transition countries through the establishment of legal information institutes.
eIFL.net
Electronic Information for Libraries (eIFL.net) is a network of national consortia of major libraries that negotiates, supports, and advocates for the wide availability of electronic resources to library users in lower-income countries.
East-East/South-South Translation Support
The Information Program provided limited and carefully targeted support for translations and publishing in two regions: the Arabic world and Eastern Europe.
