Marek Nowicki Small Grants Fund

The Marek Nowicki Small Grants Fund was established to commemorate Marek Nowicki, a distinguished human rights activist and leader of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, Warsaw.

Sponsored by the Open Society Institute, the fund supports the professional activities of nongovernmental organizations from countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States aimed at empowering democracy, the rule of law, and human rights observance in their countries and regions. Only those individuals who are alumni of the human rights trainings of the Helsinki Foundation, and from the target region, are eligible to apply.

For more information about the fund, eligibility criteria, and application forms (in English and Russian) please visit: www.hfhrpol.waw.pl/program-6-en.html.
